New Build Project Update

Following an announcement on Friday 6th August 2010 we can confirm that the projected £20m new school building for Ormiston Bushfield Academy will be going ahead as planned. This is obviously great news for all involved and for the local community, exciting times ahead !!

Ormiston Bushfield Academy has specialist status in Mathematics, Sport and Performing Arts. We have a strong focus on making every child matter and this has been recognised through national recognition of our 'inclusion' policy and the award of the Inclusion Charter Mark. There are no strangers within the college and it is a community where everyone is known to everyone. Ormiston Bushfield Academy is a popular school and in the last three years we have been oversubscribed.

We encourage high aspirations and we enjoy helping individuals to overcome obstacles, rise to challenges and experience success.

We have a future building programme which will develop over the next three years on a Greenfield site close to the existing academy. This will enable us to increase our admissions number to 950 students.
