OBA are determined to prepare our young people for the world of work and this has never been more important. Our future prosperity and success depends on our ability to develop home grown talent and encourage our young people to be creative, take risks and innovate. A main priority is to ensure that students from OBA have access to an education that prepares them for the next stage of the lives – whether in further education, employment or apprenticeships.
Enterprise education involves teaching pupils the knowledge and skills they will need to be future employees and potential employers. It includes, but is not limited to, teaching financial and organisational capability, while also providing opportunities to raise pupils’ awareness of problems and solutions in the context of business and enterprise.

- Ensure there is a coherent programme to develop enterprise education, including the economic and business knowledge, understanding and skills of all pupils.
- Develop stronger links with businesses by using local networks and set clear objectives for the intended outcomes of these partnerships
